• personalize the Founderfy experience based on profile information and preferences;
• provide early-access and city-launch notifications;
• communicate with you regarding your account and the Services;
• send email and SMS communications when permitted by your preferences and applicable law;
• provide customer support and respond to requests;
• detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms;
• maintain the safety, security, and integrity of Founderfy;
• understand how people use Founderfy and improve our Services;
• develop and test new features;

Founderfy is designed to help people discover and connect with other members of their local founder community.

Information you choose to include in your Founderfy profile may therefore be visible to other Founderfy users. Depending on the features available, this may include information such as your:

• profile photo;
• city or general location;
• professional background;
• skills and experience;
• industries and interests;
• business or project information;
• founder goals and preferences; and
• other information you choose to make part of your profile.

You should not include information in your profile that you do not want other Founderfy users to see.

We may modify profile visibility and privacy controls as the Services develop.

Founderfy may send service-related emails concerning matters such as:

• waitlist confirmation;
• account creation and authentication;
• security;
• early access;
• availability of Founderfy in your city;
• changes affecting your account or the Services; and
• other communications necessary to provide Services you request.

We may also send promotional or marketing emails where permitted by law and consistent with your communication preferences.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails.

Unsubscribing from promotional emails does not prevent us from sending non-promotional communications reasonably necessary to operate your account, protect the Services, or provide something you requested.

If you voluntarily opt in to receive SMS messages from Founderfy, we may send you text messages regarding your Founderfy waitlist status, early access, and availability of Founderfy in your city.

Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, joining the Founderfy waitlist, creating a founder profile, or otherwise using Founderfy.

You may opt out of Founderfy SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a Founderfy text message.

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

Founderfy does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

If our practices change in a manner that creates additional rights under applicable privacy laws, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.

Regardless of other provisions in this Policy, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may also remain temporarily in backups until those backups are overwritten or deleted through our ordinary retention processes.

You may delete your Founderfy account or request deletion of your account and associated personal information.

Where account-deletion functionality is available within Founderfy, you may submit the request directly through the Platform. You may also request account deletion by contacting founderfyco@gmail.com.

Following a valid deletion request, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account within a reasonable period, subject to the retention exceptions described in this Privacy Policy.

Deleting your account may permanently remove your founder profile, access to the Services, messages or other content associated with your account, and other account information. Some information may remain where reasonably necessary or legally permitted.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

• Correction: Correction of inaccurate personal information.
